SR. OUTSIDE TECHNICAL SALES REP – KANSAS
Responsibilities:
- Maintain established accounts and develop new business opportunities in Kansas.
- Provide industrial clients with on-site application information and support, quotations and product information.
Education/Credentials:
- 4 year college degree in area of instrumentation, mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering.
Job Related Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience within the chemical, petrochemical or refining industry is required.
Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Well-developed knowledge of industry.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customer to provide system and product information.
- Self-starter with a desire to achieve challenging goals and objectives.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER – Kansas
Responsibilities:
- Supports Outside Sales force and industrial clients.
- Provides technical expertise, applications review and product information and selection.
- Provides sales force and customers with pricing quotations and proposals.
- Presents applications and product information at training seminars.
- Order entry and processing.
- Reviews customers’ specifications and responds to their inquiries.
- Control valves and actuators sizing, and instrumentation selection.
- Liaison with the technical and sales support teams of our German-based group of companies.
Education/Credentials:
- 4 year college degree in the instrumentation, mechanical, chemical, electrical engineering, or related field is preferred and/or equivalent job experience of control and instrumentation in process industry related field.
Job Related Experience:
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar environment or a plant would be an asset.
Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Well-developed computer skills in Word, Excel, and other general office programs are required.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Self-starter with a desire to achieve challenging goals and objectives.
- Knowledge of the German language would be an asset but is not required.

- Self-starter with a desire to achieve challenging goals and objectives.
- Knowledge of the German language would be an asset but is not required.

VALVE SERVICE - Baytown, TX
Responsibilities:
- Service Samson Group products on customers’ sites.
- Assemble and Disassemble new and repaired equipment;
- Calibrate products according to written procedures;
- Test valves and accessories in accordance with written procedures;
- Perform troubleshooting on instrumentation and accessories in accordance with written procedures;
- Maintain safety practices and housekeeping.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Credentials:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred 2 years college degree
- Valid Driver’s License
Job Related Experience:
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar environment preferably with valves;
- Mechanical skills (proper use of hand tools and handheld power tools);
- Electrical skills (proper use of loop calibrators and multi-meters);
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Inside Technical Support Engineer - Baton Rouge, LA
Responsibilities:

- Provides technical expertise, applications review and product information and selection.

- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Credentials:
- Minimum 2 year college degree w/ 3-5 year technical Support experience
- Preferred 4-year college degree in the instrumentation, mechanical, chemical, electrical engineering, or related field is preferred and/or equivalent job experience of control and instrumentation in process industry related field.
